A few days ago, Mirabai and I (say that 3x really fast!) were invited to a deviantART VIP Reception here in Austin.

She and I met & talked with several department heads, along with a myriad of upper-tier deviantART staff, and even Angelo Sotira, CEO of deviantART (very nice man, btw).

On top of it all, we made some incredible contacts at the event...and I am already working with 2 of them on a few very cool things (I'll announce what those things are, once they solidify).

We had an amazing time, and both of us were honored to receive such a warm welcome from the power-players on DA.

This photo shows us being interviewed at the event (also very cool!). I am not yet sure where/when the interview can be seen, but I'll likely find out soon :)

BTW...if you don't already know, Mirabai is the Body-Painter & Stylist behind this photo »

Congratulations to you both! I'm looking forward to some more collaborations between you and Mirabai, although you don't have to rush because I'm still picking up the pieces of my brain after you BLEW MY MIND with that last photo! Keep us posted about that interview :)
