Just some behind-the-scenes video of me composing music for my upcoming album, "The Virru Project".

This is how it usually goes. I come up with a chord progression first, then once that arrangement is fairly solid, I start tracking (recording) a few layers of instruments to create more of a mood to the song. Once that takes form, I find that the song will tell me where it wants/needs to go...almost as-if it is on autopilot.

I wanted this video to show the infancy of the recording process...and it does exactly that. It is complete with its mistakes, flubs, and falterings, which also contribute to the direction the song will take as it reaches a later point of refinement. Nothing you hear here is a "final" track...this is just one of many steps toward the end-product. I just thought it would be cool to show how a song evolves/matures over time, so for now...enjoy its inception.

On another note: this particular song will be featuring one of my favourite vocalists of all-time...but you'll have to wait to see just who that is
