If you've been reading my journal entries, you know the story surrounding this guitar. I went through a LOT to buy this guitar. Like my camera, it is one of the (very) few material possessions I treasure.
I believe a picture can say a thousand words, but to me, music speaks untold millions.
Truth-be-told, I consider myself to be a much better musician, than a photographer. My life as a photographer is only about 5-6 years old...but my life with music goes back as far as I can remember. It will always be my best friend.
On the subject of not being able to express things with mere words: I want to extend my profound (and speechless) heartfelt thanks to the altruistic soul from New Zealand who rescued my guitar from the pawnshop, and put it back in my hands. Thank you so much, brother
« The man, himself...
I am in the final stages of completing the new CD...over 8 years in the making, but I feel it has been well worth the effort. I'll announce more as events unfold this year
You can listen to a demo-reel of samples from the new CD project, here: [link]

Great story man. I, too am a musician who has a couple of guitars that mean a great deal to me. Perhaps I should follow your lead and post photos (though I don't have your skill as a photographer). One of my guitars - a '67 Gibson J-50 - I inherited from my grandfather.
I hope you make it back to Austin. I'm in Houston now but I lived in Austin for four years. It's a wonderful place to live.
Thanks!
And that photo!
