This is my good friend, and amazingly good photographer, Jean-Philippe Martin (left), and me (right)

I've been friends with Jean-Philippe for 4 years or so.

During this time, he has helped me get through 2 train-wreck break-ups, given me rides to countless places, bought me more than a few meals, helped me move, and shared many stories that only a man from France could tell (because he is)...but not least-important, he has been a tremendous factor in the advancement of my own photography and continues to generously share a wealth of photography knowledge with me.

If you see the sudden (and out-of-the-norm, for me) appearance of studio lighting in my work, you can attribute him for that

Oh, and he makes a mean Crêpe, too (of course).
