Just a candid shot of Jessa...we were walking to get sushi during her recent visit to Portland.

I love this image, as it tells a powerful, but not-so-obvious story: I remember this moment clearly, as it was then that I made the quiet decision to move back to Austin.

All of the elements in this single frame came together in a sudden strong reminder of what I love about that city so much...the sun, my own happiness, the closeness of good friends...I asked myself "what in the hell am I doing in Oregon?".

And so, I am bound for home...soon.

Just the thought of it makes me smile more than I have in almost an entire year.
