Model - Melody

In the chronology of my photography, this photo goes back several years.

The significance it holds for me is that this was the first experienced model I ever worked with. It was also the first time a model hopped on a plane to come shoot with me. I could continue this list of "firsts" for looooong time...but it is enough to say that working with her forever changed my photography. I became "spoiled", very quickly. She set the standard...and that standard was lofty, indeed.

For the next several weeks, I wanted keep the momentum and keep shooting, but I just couldn't find anyone that came close to her calibre...that is, until I met her identical twin sister ([link]), who quickly became my most-photographed model. The images I created with her would eventually go-on to define me, as a photographer.

But the day I took this photo is when all of this began.
