Despite the horrid time I had during my 16 months in Portland, OR, I did manage to make 3 good friends there.
Eric Wimberly is a close friend, one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and a damn good photographer (click his DA icon at the top of this post to see his work). He helped me through some very difficult times, when no one else could/would.
I do not freely hand-out the title, "good human", but Eric is a good human. People like him define that title
These images were taken while having coffee, one afternoon. I enjoy photographing other photographers, for some reason...and Eric shares my enthusiasm

I like your photography because it has a dynamic force in it. You bring the still pictures into life sequences or little stories. They are very filmic photographs you make .
I love that this is a diptych - Eric Wimberly pretty much defines stunning diptychs & ethereal beauty in photography. He seems lovely - was pleasantly surprised to find a photo of the 2 of you sitting in my "watchbox"
Nice to see you flourishing my friend! Portland is a harsh mistress, no doubt of that and it hasn't gotten any better. Coffee, cigarettes and Monster Energy Drinks... lifestyle of the rich and famous, right?
Miss you, mate!
