Jessa and I were knocking around South Congress St. in Austin, TX when we saw this spot, and decided to shoot a bit.
To get this angle, I had to lay on the ground in a planted area with a bunch of shrubbery. I don't remember how it happened, exactly, but part of the shrub I was shooting through suddenly snapped back...and I ended up with a mouthful of little twigs & branches. Like someone loaded up a slingshot full of salad and launched it at me
Jessa started cracking up, in response to my being assaulted by the shrub. It was definitely worth it.

I really like how natural and casual this looks. And the story behind it is funny indeed. Those are moments that get people smiling no matter what... Your photographs are fabulous and Jessa is not only an amazing model but also a very beautiful person in looks as well as in personality, individuality and creativity as it seems...
i believe this is the soul of photography to catch fleeting expressions that are rare to catch.... i give that shrub all my respect and more so to you for taking this unreplicable shot!
I wish your camera had made a photo of you with the twigs as well xD
