About this image: Smoke break at a wedding reception I was photographing. Yes...I'm known to shoot weddings, occasionally.

Taken while waiting on some of the wedding party to come outside for some photos.

I'm not posing or anything here...I swear.

Yeah...all my friends keep telling me to do more weddings. Really, I HATE DOING WEDDINGS.
Yes you could make some good money, if you have the right equipment and resources to effectively cover a wedding. But I really don't. And the passion to shoot wedding is not there. BTW...cool shot. You look like a photographer. The cool-looking trendy type.

Weddings are definitely "work", no doubt. I, for one, am not saddened to see you smoking. Instead, I'm a bit sad to see you sporting Canon :P

Think about this for a minute. You make images that the family will treasure for many years. They will say that you are gifted and can capture the essence of a situation. They will marvel at your skill and wonder how you can do it. You will make an impression on future generations. Your temporary inconvenience is for a worthy cause.
Do not think that this small service to this family is beneath you. Many are those that would gladly take your place should fortune grant it.

yeh thats a lie they don't really say much do they... Great picture of yourself. I'm glad that DA can be a medium for you to put images that aren't necessarily commercial for the viewing pleasure of us folk
