i can't believe one of my favorite photographer lives in Austin too.
that makes me happy.
You know, it feels like you have found a perfect balance between sound and vision in your life.
Although you do look awkward in this shot
Anyway, it's like watching a warm, funny film in vivid pastel colours about the little things that make life bearable and beautiful in a sad, melancholic kind of way.
Listening to Pa'la Mare and looking at you and Jessa here is... like knowing more about you than you ever intended to show in your work. It actually is scary, the way those facets you present to the world blend together into a pastel-coloured version of the 'real' you.
It is not often that I hear from someone who "gets" what I do. In fact, it is quite rare.
My music and my photography are both externalizations of how I love to see (and hear) things in my mind...how I wish the world really was, if that makes any sense.
I always remember something a woman said to me (regarding my photos) at an exhibit I was doing..."it's like you are in love with being in love", she said.
I cannot argue with that
So thank you, again. I really do appreciate your (very well-spoken) observations
